TWF Labs vs Remote for India hiring
Remote is one of the better global EORs — particularly strong on IP assignment (their “IP Guard”) and on the policy-and-people side of HR. For India hiring specifically, the question is the same as with Deel: do you want a global platform that includes India, or an India-specialist?

Where Remote genuinely wins
- IP Guard is a real, well-thought-through asset. If IP is your single largest concern and you're hiring across many jurisdictions, Remote is hard to beat globally.
- Multi-country in roughly the same way as Deel, with stronger emphasis on owned entities (vs. relying on third-party local providers) in more countries.
- HR-policy depth. Their templates are well-crafted.
Where TWF Labs wins
- India depth. Same argument as with Deel — the edges (Codes 2025, gratuity, state-specific PT, offboarding) are where India specialisation matters.
- Recruitment + EOR as one offer. We source the engineer and employ them. Remote employs an engineer you find.
- Published pricing. No sales-call gate.
- One person owns your relationship. Same person, every conversation.
How we close the IP gap
Our standard employment contract assigns all work-product, inventions, and improvements to your company from day one. The language mirrors US/UK assignment clauses your counsel will recognise. NDAs and confidentiality covenants are standard. If you want to additionally sign an IP-side-letter directly between your company and the engineer (some founders prefer this for redundancy), we set it up.
It is not branded as a marketing product the way IP Guard is. The mechanics are equivalent for India.
